WOW 4A is a residential project located in Peru, with over 14,245 m² built, developed under a resource-efficiency approach applied to the housing sector. From the design stage, the project incorporates strategies aimed at reducing energy, water, and materials consumption compared to an equivalent conventional building.

WOW 4A holds EDGE certification (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies), an international standard developed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, which requires a minimum of 20% savings in energy, 20% in water, and 20% in embodied energy in construction materials compared to a conventional baseline.

What makes this project innovative?

The innovation of WOW 4A lies in applying eco-efficiency criteria at scale to a residential development, demonstrating that certified sustainability can be integrated cost-effectively into sizable housing projects.

• Incorporating low energy-consumption equipment and lighting fixtures in common areas and residential units.
