Girasoles II is a residential development located in Mexico, with more than 59,737 m² built, conceived as a large-scale multifamily housing project. Its design incorporates energy and water efficiency criteria aligned with the international sustainable construction standards gaining ground in the Mexican market.

Girasoles II holds EDGE certification (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies), which validates minimum energy, water, and materials savings compared to an equivalent conventional building of the same type and location.

What makes this project innovative?

The innovation of Girasoles II lies in applying certifiable resource-efficiency criteria to a residential development with a large built area, demonstrating that sustainability can be scaled to mass-housing projects in Mexico.
