More Buceo is a residential building developed by Altius Group, designed by the Gómez Platero architecture studio, located at Av. Rivera 4237, corner of Solano López, in the Buceo neighborhood of Montevideo, Uruguay. With over 22,706 m² built across 27 floors and more than 260 units — from studios to 3-bedroom apartments — it is recognized in local press as Montevideo's first residential tower to obtain LEED certification.
The building offers more than 20 amenities, including indoor and outdoor heated pools, a gym, sauna, beauty salon, massage room, kids club, coworking space, pet area, barbecue areas, and, on the 27th floor, terraces with panoramic views of the Río de la Plata.
The innovation of More Buceo lies in being a pioneer in certifying a tall residential tower on the Uruguayan coast under the LEED standard, a segment where international certification was still uncommon at the time of its development.
The project stands out for:
The LEED certification obtained by More Buceo places Montevideo on the regional map of sustainable buildings and marks a turning point for high-rise residential development on the Uruguayan coast.
