Quartz is a residential project located in Peru, with over 1,877 m² built, developed under resource-efficiency criteria applied to a compact-scale housing format. From its design stage, the project incorporates strategies aimed at reducing energy, water, and materials consumption compared to an equivalent conventional building.

Quartz holds EDGE certification, which validates compliance with minimum savings of 20% in energy, 20% in water, and 20% in materials compared to a conventional baseline, verified by an independent auditor before the final certificate is issued.

What makes this project innovative?

The innovation of Quartz lies in demonstrating that EDGE certification is also viable in compact-scale residential developments, a segment where the cost of implementing sustainable strategies is often perceived as a barrier.
