Project description

THE EDGE is a project that achieved LEED BD+C certification at the Silver level, the LEED rating system focused on the design and construction of new buildings.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, is the most widely recognized sustainable building certification system in the world. It evaluates a building's performance in categories such as energy efficiency, water use, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, and location and transportation. The Silver level requires between 50 and 59 points.

What makes this project innovative?

LEED BD+C certification requires sustainability to be integrated from the earliest design stages and verified throughout construction, covering the building's environmental performance as a whole.

The project stands out for:

  • Incorporating energy and water efficiency criteria from the design stage.
  • Considering material selection and waste management during construction.
  • Prioritizing indoor environmental quality and occupant well-being.

Project impact

With LEED Silver certification, THE EDGE joins the portfolio of buildings whose environmental performance is backed by international recognition.
